Dr. Manish Kohli is a physician executive leader with demonstrated
success in delivering complex healthcare “firsts” in the US and
overseas. A leading voice in the field, he lends expertise to pioneering
health care public, private, and humanitarian organizations on
transformative care delivery paradigms and operating models that
leverage emerging technologies, digital health, and data to achieve
quadruple aims and reduce inequities and disparities.
Presently, he is the CEO of Beyond Horizon Health, a digital health
advisory firm that serves organizations and stakeholders domestically and globally on strategy, digital maturity, governance, workforce development, and digital-enabled innovative models of care. Additionally, he is an investor and advisor to innovative digital health startups.
Notably, Dr. Kohli is the Past Chairman, Board of Directors of Health
Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). He has also
served on the Board of Directors of Wings of Hope, a twice Nobel Peace Prize nominated, global, humanitarian nonprofit organization that helps the world’s most vulnerable communities.
Dr. Kohli is a Fellow of the Health Information and Management
Systems Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He
is dually board-certified in Clinical Informatics and Family Medicine.
He received his MD degree from the Southern Illinois University
School of Medicine and earned both, MPH in International Health and
MBA in Medical Services Management, from the Johns Hopkins
University. He completed postgraduate training in Family Medicine at
Rush University and Preventive Medicine at Johns Hopkins.
