Juliana Gomez-Arostegui
MD, MPH, FAAP

Board Certified in General Pediatrics & Pediatric Cardiology

With over 20 years of experience as a clinician in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology, Dr. Juliana Gomez-Arostegui is a dedicated practitioner, educator, and advocate for pediatric patient care. Her career has been marked by a commitment to both clinical practice and medical education, maintaining double board certification in pediatric cardiology and general pediatrics.


Dr Gomez-Arostegui currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Cardiology at Rady Children’s Hospital, University of California, San Diego. However, for the first half of her career, she was a pediatric hospitalist in the Bay Area, working at two county hospitals for 7 years. Dr. Gomez-Arostegui played a vital role as an inpatient attending during this time, which also included training Stanford pediatric residents and providing overnight care in a level III neonatal intensive care unit.
