The Expert is a Board-Certified Neurologist with a post-doctorate degree in Kinesiological Sciences and is currently actively practicing Neurology part-time at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

He has spent the last 14 years as a medical consultant in the pharmaceutical industry, providing expertise and strategic support for early- and late-phase drug development, Medical Affairs, and Business Development. His experience includes developing advisory boards to gather strategic feedback for clinical drug development; supporting clinical operations to identify key thought leaders and trialists for participation in drug development studies; preparing regulatory documents in the drug development process; identifying new indications for pre- and post-marketed medicines; providing Medical Affairs support to engage key opinion leaders in research and education opportunities; and supporting business development functions to identify novel pre-clinical and clinical in-licensing targets.

In addition, he has performed over 1,000 independent medical evaluations over the past 13 years in the areas of workers’ compensation and personal injury and has provided expert testimony in depositions and arbitrations. With active medical licenses in Arizona, Oregon, and Washington, the Expert provides expert medical opinions to defense and plaintiffs’ attorneys, insurers, and state workers’ compensation departments in matters involving IMEs, medical malpractice, fitness for duty, and short- and long-term disability insurance examinations throughout the United States. He also lectures on related topics, including work- and sports-related concussion, carpal tunnel syndrome, spinal cord injury, musculoskeletal disorders of the neck and lower back, traumatic peripheral nerve injury, migraine, seizures, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and neurodegenerative disorders.

He currently holds active licenses in: New York, Florida, Arizona, Washington
