The expert is board-certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. He is a practicing Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon and Surgical Intensivist in Northern California.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Medical Association and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma.
He is certified in the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery and serves as an instructor for Advanced Trauma Life Support, a medical course for healthcare professionals on the resuscitation of acutely injured patients.
Previously, he held an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he conducted clinical and basic science research. He also served as Associate Program Director for the Cedars-Sinai Surgical Residency.
In addition to his clinical practice, he advises medical students, residents, and young physicians on career paths in surgery.
