The expert is board-certified in Pediatric Infectious Diseases, holds a California physician’s and surgeon’s license, and is a former Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.
He has more than 30 years of experience as a consultant physician in pediatric infectious diseases and has conducted medical research in HIV medicine, immunology, virology, tropical medicine, hepatitis, SARS-CoV-2, COVID-19, and infectious diseases in blood and marrow transplant recipients. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in the medical literature.
